GENDER.ED-EUSA Undergraduate Feminist Trailblazers – Call for Nominations
GENDER.ED and EUSA are pleased to announce this year’s Undergraduate Feminist Trailblazers call for nominations! In 2022, we introduced the Undergraduate Feminist Trailblazers series to showcase the brilliant feminist work of undergraduate students at the University of Edinburgh. We took seriously all kinds of work: activism, volunteering, academic, or otherwise. This year too, the winners will be chosen by a panel consisting of GENDER.ED and EUSA members after a round of shortlisting. Students selected as winners will receive a prize and be featured in a GENDER.ED blogpost. Our winners last year impressed us with their commitments to activism and advocacy work around gender justice and we featured them on our blog so you could get to know them better:
Katie Horsburgh (first prize)
Jaime Llorente Prada (second prize)
Shy Zvouloun (third prize)
Honorary mention: Pia Wahi-Singh
If you are an undergraduate student conducting feminist work in the University, or if you know of an undergraduate doing feminist work, we invite you to submit a nomination here by March 31, 2023 at 18:00 (6 PM) GMT.
Please direct any questions to GENDER.ED’s PhD assistant, Aerin Lai (aerin.lai@ed.ac.uk).
We look forward to reading your submissions!
