Dr Ayaz Qureshi is a Lecturer in Medical Anthropology at the School of Social and Political Science. He has carried out ethnographic fieldwork on HIV/AIDS control in Pakistan. He received his PhD in social anthropology from SOAS. He has been part of a number of research projects in the area of infectious diseases, reproductive and sexual health, and status of women in Pakistan.
