Jeevan Sharma

Jeevan R Sharma is Senior Lecturer in South Asia and International Development at the University of Edinburgh. He is the co-editor of Himalaya and an associate editor of South Asia: Journal of South Asian Studies South Asia. Jeevan’s work focusses on:

• Maternal health
• Culture of migration
• Gendered, classed and racialised mobility of labour
• Death, injury and ill-treatment of migrant workers 
• Access to justice and citizenship.

Jeevan has authored:
