Marion Boulicault (She/They)
Honorific Prefix
DrMarion Boulicault is a Lecturer in Feminist Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh and also serves as the Director of Interdisciplinary Research and Community at the Harvard GenderSci Lab. She has a PhD in Philosophy from MIT and completed an MPhil in the History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge.
Marion’s research takes a feminist approach to questions in the ethics of technology, philosophy of science, and bioethics. In her work, she develops and uses feminist tools and methodologies to analyze the normative dimensions of scientific measurement and other data collection practices.
Marion is currently involved the early stages of a project on critical metrology, i.e. on the normative dimensions of measurement practices. Alongside members of the Harvard GenderSci Lab, she is also a member of the research project Sex in Motion (funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation), which analyses scientific research on sex differences in sports injuries.
