Hope is the Women’s Liberation Officer for the Edinburgh University Students Association and is in her fourth year of an MA Sociology and Politics Degree.Her interest in gender issues also informs her academics, and she is currently writing a dissertation on the construction and evolution of dominant societal beauty standards for women.
